Comcast SportsNet introduces fans to the 2009-10 Sixers

Philadelphia, Pa. – October 23, 2009 – Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, home of the most comprehensive local sports coverage, will introduce fans to the new-look 2009-10 Philadelphia 76ers during the network’s broadcast of “Meet the Sixers.” This one-hour television special gives fans an inside look at the upcoming season.

Comcast SportsNet’s Michael Barkann and Dei Lynam, along with Sixers broadcasters Marc Zumoff and Ed Pinckney, host “Meet the Sixers.” Players appearing on the program include Andre Iguodala, Elton Brand, Marreese Speights, Lou Williams and many more.

Sixers Chairman Ed Snider, Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko, Sixers President Ed Stefanski and Head Coach Eddie Jordan are also part of the program.

“Meet the Sixers” will air exclusively on Comcast SportsNet on Friday, October 23 at 9 p.m.; Sunday, October 25 at 3 p.m.; Tuesday, October 27 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Wednesday, October 28 at 11 p.m. and Friday, October 30 at 4 p.m. It will also air on the Comcast Network on Monday, October 26 at 10:30 p.m.; Monday, November 9 at 9 p.m. and Saturday, November 14 at 7 p.m. It will also be available on Comcast ON DEMAND beginning on Friday, October 23 at 9 p.m.

Beginning this season, all Sixers home and road games broadcast on Comcast SportsNet will be available in high definition.
